The airport Park and Ride offers safe, efficient and affordable car parking for those looking to park for two or more days.
The 11 seater Go Bus shuttle and luggage trailer runs every 30 minutes on the half hour and the hour, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
The start and finish times of the shuttle service will co-ordinate with the airlines’ timetables.
A timetable for the Park and Ride shuttle bus is available.
The Park and Ride is located at Brookes Road, Frankton (behind Mitre 10 and Pak’NSAVE) and has up to 300 car park spaces - clearly signposted with orange signs. Directional signs in blue on the highways and roads direct you to the site.
The service operates on a ‘pay-to-park, free-to-ride’ model where you choose any available spot in the Park and Ride car park area and collect a receipt at the pay station which is used for the outbound and return shuttle trip to and from the airport. How to use the Park and Ride:
- Grab your luggage and head to the paystation
- Input your car registration, set your planned return date, pay and retrieve your ticket.
- When ready, board the next available shuttle and show the driver your ticket.
Our friendly driver will offer you a sweet treat when you board and entertain you with music as you sit back and relax en-route to the terminal. The trip should take around 15 minutes from the car park to terminal pending traffic.
Please plan ahead for your trip and arrive in plenty of time for your flight. While every effort will be made to ensure you arrive in time for your flight check-in, sometimes things don’t always go to plan. There are plenty of cafes and shops to keep you busy at the terminal while you wait to board your flight, so grab a coffee, a bite to eat or do some shopping while you’re here.
