Queenstown Airport’s vision is to achieve Zero Harm to those who visit and work within our airport community, including employees, contractors and visitors.
Committed to Zero Harm
We are focused on developing a positive and collaborative Health and Safety culture. A culture that is committed to playing a leadership role in promoting Health and Safety across the airport and recognised as a benchmark for Health and Safety excellence. An important part in achieving Zero Harm is ensuring that all our managers, employees and contractors clearly understand their responsibilities for Health and Safety.
Queenstown Airport is dedicated to providing a safe working environment for both company employees and all contractors it engages, or those working on Queenstown Airport sites or in the public domain. The Contractor & Tenant Guidelines provide the health and safety measures that all parties must follow to ensure they are satisfactorily managed during the course of business operations. The Guidelines are designed to enable sharing of information and continuous improvement to help us achieve Zero Harm.
QAC is responsible for ensuring all work undertaken at Queenstown Airport is done in a safe and compliant manner. All contractors must submit a Job Safety Assessment online for review and approval by QAC. Once approved, QAC will issue the Authority to Work Permit.
