We are looking for a versatile team player to join our Airport Operations team, supporting Queenstown Airport’s smooth, safe, and secure operation, from the car parks, through the terminal, and right up to the aircraft, in this hands-on, customer-centric role.

As a Customer Service Representative at QAC, no two days are the same. You’ll blend passenger assistance with practical operational duties, one moment helping a visitor find their gate, the next ensuring trolleys are available, facilities are working, and passenger flows are smooth. You’ll spend much of your day on your feet, moving through the terminal and forecourt, keeping both passengers and the airport moving.

Our vision is to be an innovative airport people love to travel through and that our community takes pride in. If you’re looking for variety, teamwork, and the buzz of a live airport environment, we’d love to hear from you.

This is a fulltime permanent position, working an average of 40 hours per week. Flexibility to work 9 hour shifts on a 7 day rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays (shifts between 6am & 10.30pm).

Roster is 4 days on, 2 days off

This role is multi-faceted, and as such encompasses duties both customer-facing and in an operational capacity.

To hit the ground running you’ll need…

  • A can-do positive attitude with a great personality

  • Customer, team and safety focus

  • Enjoyment of a busy, hands-on role (your step count will thank you!)

  • Collaborative and flexible approach

  • The ability to stay calm during high-volume periods

Why work for us?

  • Competitive salary package + Overtime

  • Health insurance through Southern Cross

  • Annual well-being subsidy

  • Comprehensive Whānau Policy

  • OCP - counselling program

  • Day off for your birthday

  • Onsite parking permit

  • Long service recognition (5, 10 & 15 years)

  • Team events every 6 weeks, company wide events 3 times a year

  • Opportunities to volunteer for community activities and events

  • QAC is a Gold Pride Pledge Supporter

  • Live and work in the adventure capital of New Zealand

You will need

  • NZ residency/citizenship or a valid NZ work visa

  • To be able to pass Ministry of Justice, security checks and a pre-employment drug and alcohol test

Queenstown Airport is an equal opportunity employer and committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workforce. We encourage all suitable applicants to apply, we look forward to hearing from you!

Application deadline is Thursday 15th October 2026 and applications will only be processed via SEEK.

We receive a large number of applications and take the time to review each one carefully. While response times may be longer than usual, rest assured every applicant will hear back from us.
