Colin Keel – Chief Executive

Colin has been Chief Executive since June 2016. He is focused on providing sustainable air connectivity to the region as well as building strong relationships with key stakeholders and the community to align infrastructure development with future growth plans. Prior to joining QAC, Colin held senior leadership roles across a range of aviation, transport and infrastructure businesses, including American Airlines, Qantas Airways and Aurizon. He also has been a senior advisor to major international pension funds on investments in the transport and energy sectors. Colin began his career as a corporate lawyer and has worked in Australia, the UK and US. Colin holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree from Muhlenberg College in Pennsylvania. He is on the executive committee of NZ Airports Association and is a member of the region’s transport governance group.

Mark Edghill – Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary

Mark joined QAC as Chief Financial Officer in February 2014. He leads financial performance management, strategic planning, capital funding, risk management and information technology. A chartered accountant with a diverse international experience in finance, strategic planning and governance, Mark has held senior management positions with Z Energy, Crown Castle Australia and James Hardie Industries. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree from Durham University and is a fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and CPA Australia. He also is a member of CAANZ and the New Zealand Institute of Directors.

Mike Clay – General Manager Operations and Safety

Mike joined QAC in January 2015 and has overall responsibility for managing airside and terminal operations as well as infrastructure and facilities maintenance. He previously held senior roles in operations, compliance and regulation with Auckland Airport as well as Frucor, Techscape, Auckland Healthcare Services, and the Department of Labour. Mike holds graduate diplomas in Business Studies and Occupational Health and Safety from Massey University and an International Airport Professional (IAP) accreditation from the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) and Airport Council International (ACI). He also has completed the Airport Executive Leadership Programme at Concordia University in Canada.

Rachel Tregidga – General Manager Property and Planning

Rachel joined QAC in August 2015 and is responsible for the planning and development activities related to the company’s property assets as well as master planning.  With a long career in property management and development, Rachel has held senior management positions with Auckland Council Property Limited and Oxford City Council (UK), as well as various property and project managerial roles with Opus International, BNZ, and Westfield (NZ) Ltd.  Rachel holds Bachelor of Commerce and Arts degrees and a Diploma in Commerce from the University of Auckland.  She is also a member of the region’s transport governance group.

Olivia Pierre – General Manager Commercial and Customer Experience

Olivia joined QAC in October 2017.  She is responsible for all business activities and relationships related to aeronautical revenue and non-aeronautical revenue as well as defining the end-to-end customer experience.  Olivia was part of the senior leadership team at Hawkes Bay Airport with responsibility for commercial and operations activities.  She also has had a long career with Air New Zealand in various management roles spanning commercial, airport operations and customer experience.  Olivia holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Auckland and speaks fluent German, English, Romanian and Spanish.

Jen Andrews – General Manager - Communications and Community

Jen joined QAC in October 2013 and has overall responsibility for internal and external communications, including stakeholder and community engagement, digital channels, media and film relations and the sustainability programme. She is a senior communications and marketing professional, having held management roles with Destination Queenstown, Southern PR, Auckland City Council, University of Sydney, and Goldman Sachs (UK and Australia). Jen holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Waikato and a Diploma in Event Management, Public Relations and Marketing from the APM College of Business and Communication in Australia. She is also an accredited Civil Defence Public Information Manager.
