Filming at Queenstown Airport for the media
News crews wanting to film or take photographs in the terminal, car parks, airport roads, or airfield must contact Queenstown Airport's Corporate Affairs team on +64 3 450 9033 before doing so. Letting us know in advance helps us coordinate with our operations team and ensure your activity can be safely managed. Please give us as much notice as possible, although we understand this might be challenging for breaking news.
Airside access
Access to airside locations (the airfield and all areas beyond security screening) is only permitted in special circumstances and requires several days’ notice. Please note, filming security staff or security equipment is not allowed, unless specific permission has been granted by the relevant government agency.
Flight disruptions
General information about flight delays and cancellations due to weather and other events can be found on our flight information page.
General filming and photography
If you are not a member of the media and would like to film or take photographs at the airport, please visit the filming at the airport page for more information.
