Queenstown Airport Corporation’s Chief of Finance and Corporate Services, Andrew Williamson, has decided to step down after eight years with the company.
Andrew joined QAC in 2018 and has played a leading role through a period of significant growth and transformation. His contribution includes providing financial leadership through QAC’s recovery from COVID-19 to record profit and shareholder dividends, as well as developing and executing the funding strategy supporting QAC’s infrastructure development programme.
QAC’s Chief Executive, Shane O’Hare, said: “Andrew has made a significant contribution to QAC over the past eight years. We thank him for his leadership and his commitment to a smooth transition. He will leave behind a strong finance function and team. We wish him all the best for the future.”
Andrew will continue to lead the finance function through the transition period to ensure an orderly handover. The process to appoint his successor will begin shortly.
