Manaia Lounge

13 Mar 2026

Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere, warm hospitality, and a stunning view of the Remarkables.

Looking for extra space and comfort to relax, work or dine before your international flight departs?

Join us in the Manaia Lounge and start your journey in style – with warm hospitality, a relaxed atmosphere and stunning views of the Remarkables mountain range.

The Manaia Lounge (Māori for 'Protector of Land, Sea and Sky') caters for up to 150 guests and is the only passenger lounge in the International Departures Terminal.  This means that you get the formalities of completing aviation security screening and Customs out of the way first and can just sit back and relax in the lounge until it’s time to board your flight. From there, it’s only a quick stroll downstairs to the boarding gates.

Manaia Lounge facilities include a business centre with free Wi-Fi and desktop computers, as well as TV and reading areas, dining areas and dedicated bathrooms.  There is also a gourmet food and beverage selection featuring premium local wines and freshly prepared hot and cold food by on-site chefs.

The lounge’s contemporary style and luxurious furnishings were chosen to reflect the local environment, with a colour scheme that picks up the hues of Central Otago and personal touches like a black-and-white photo wall of holiday snaps.

Lounge Eligibility

The lounge can be accessed with a Priority Pass, Lounge Key, Plaza Lounge or Dragon Pass.

A ‘pay in’ option is also offered to all international passengers travelling on any airline.  Access charges are $65 per adult and $42 per child for up to three hours.
